Rayat Bahra students excel in PEC tech fest

MOHALI: Students of the Rayat Bahra University School of Computer Sciences and Engineering won laurels in the PEC fest, a technical event organised by the Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Dr Daljit Singh, Vice-Chancellor, RBU, said that a total of 27 RBU students participated in the different events organised at the festival.

Arjun Saini, B Tech CSE batch student, bagged the All-India 3rd rank in Campus Ambassador Programme. He received cash price and has been offered internship from sponsor companies of PEC Fest such as Intern Theory, EMITAP, JUXPUX, Today’s Era and many more.

Karan Miglani has been announced as second winner in the word count competition. He won a cash prize. Mohit, Sourav, Avnish, and Vishal are proud top five finalists of code intensive hackathon competition.

Shafqat secured the fourth rank in treasure hunt competition. Harsh Sharma and Moksh Uppal won prizes in fun events like tiktok and solving rubik’s cube in minimum defined time respectively.  Vineet won the second prize in the cycling.

Divyanshu Pandey and Shafqat made their postion in top ten in code and go competition. Kamal Kishore was in the finalists’ list for Mr PEC Fest position.

Dr Ajay Goyal, Dean (Engineering), congratulated the students on their brilliant performance and motivated them students for taking part in more such technical and cultural events for their overall development.
