Indonesian Students visited LPU to study Digital Marketing

JALANDHAR: Jalandhar: Nineteen students and faculty- members from Indonesia’s renowned STEIN and AKPINDO institutions reached Lovely Professional University (LPU) to study Digital Marketing. They visited India under LPU’s two-week long "Study India Programme". At LPU, the visitors also got practical and theoretical academic deliveries for digital marketing, including that on search engine optimization, paid search marketing, affiliate marketing, e-mail marketing, social media marketing.

They were also provided with an array of marketing automation, cloud innovation, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) optimization and other digital solutions.

For intensive digital learning, Indonesians were also led to leading IT services provider ‘Grazitti Interactive’ in capital city of Punjab State-Chandigarh, which has presence in the US, Australia, Singapore and more top countries. Students made agro-industrial visit to district city Kapurthala. Visitors also understood enhanced working culture at India's largest Indian confectionary outlet- ‘Lovely Sweets’. During hotel management classes, they learnt Indian cooking and had lunch of their own cooked food.

For understanding India and the region in true terms, Indonesian students also learnt about Indian veg cooking, traditional sports, Yoga exercises, languages, dances and more. For other exclusivity in Punjab region, they were led to Rock Garden in Chandigarh, Jang-e-Azadi Museum in Kartarpur, Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar.

LPU Additional Director at Division of International Affairs, Mr Aman Mittal informed: “India is a country where history, colours, culture, cuisines and nature exhibit more diversity than anywhere else in the world. Modern India is a shining example of robust economic growth, innovative technologies, astounding scientific researches and more in a democratic setting. The only way to begin to understand India`s influence in the global economy and technologies is to visit the region, meet its corporate executives, experience its long history and rich culture first-hand. Under the same notion Indonesian students visited LPU to learn this all through its ‘Study India Programme’. This is designed for students studying abroad and who are interested to visit and know about India.”

During certificates, awards distribution from LPU, and performances by visiting students; photography competition’ winner Indonesian student Dewa Gede Bagus shared: “Being at LPU, we all have learnt that to tread the path to success, one must always set goals, whether short or long term. In addition, the technical abilities and driving forces that we have seen at LPU are unbeatable. Indeed, we all have developed a lot of new skills here….. We have grown at both professional and individual levels.”
