A Devotional Day in MRA

CHANDIGARH: Moti Ram Arya Senior Secondary Model School, Sector- 27 A, Chandigarh held an auspicious 'Yajna ceremony' in the school campus in commemoration of the 25th death anniversary of Shri Hardayal Mahajan Ji, President J.B. Charitable trust (1957- 1996) and to pay tribute and remember him along with Chief Patron Mrs. Shakuntala Mahajan, they both worked hard to built this renowned institution. He left a legacy for the students and the society. 

All dignitaries were there to pay homage, Chief Patron Mrs. Shakuntala Mahajan, President Anil Mahajan, Director Rachna Mahajan, Principal Dr. Seema Biji, Administrative and Educational Advisor Mr. M.L. Sondhi, Headmistress Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur, Manager cum trustee J.B. Charitable trust Mrs. Uma Bhanot, and all the teachers and admin staff members marked their presence on the day. 

The holy fire was pious and filled the atmosphere with positive vibrations and tranquility. ‘Aahutis’ were put in the Havan Kund while chanting the sacred mantras. Religious hymns sung by all the staff members created the ambience of spirituality in the school. 

All prayed to God for the smooth functioning of the school and wishing for the fruitful performance of students in their 10th and 12th board examinations. Member of Students' council, President Girl and Boy, Head Girl and Boy and Shining star were honoured by President Sir and Director Ma'am with badges and Sash.

 Hence, the Havan ceremony was performed religiously under the divine fervour and spirituality and ended with the blessings and best wishes from the President Sir and Director Ma'am and prasad was offered to all which is symbolic of adding sweetness to everyone's lives
