CHANDIGARH:Haryana Power Engineers Association has decided to
hold gate meetings on October 5 at all the circles against
privatization of power distribution in Uttar Pradesh and to
show solidarity with the agitating engineers and employees.
UP Vidyut Karmachari Samyukt Sangharsh Samithi (VKSSS)
is on the agitational path from 29th September against the
the proposed privatization of Varanasi Discoms and has called for
a work boycott from 5th October.
K K Malik General Secretary of the Association said that they
strongly condemn the dictatorial attitude of state government.
Rampal Singh President of the Association said that the executive committee decided to take up the pending issues of engineers
with CMD of UHBVN/DHBVN, MD HVPNL, Additional Chief Secretary (Power )
Power secretary and Power minister. The restructuring of HVPNL, pay scale
of AE, affidavit demanded by HVPNL regarding departmental account exams
will be discussed with the concerned authorities so that
all pending issues are resolved.
The executive decided that no engineer will submit an affidavit
for departmental account exams.
K K Malik also condemned the arrests of Shalindera Dubey and other leaders last week
who were to lead candle march on the birthday of Bhagat Singh.
