Haryana CM's flying squad raids illegal liquor vbend in village Sanghan

KAITHAL: Chief Minister Flying Squad on Tuesday raided a liquor sub-contract running without a license on Dhanauri Road in village Sanghan in this district.A case has been registered against a liquor vendor operating without a license in Sadar police station and he has been arrested.

On Tuesday afternoon, Inspector Rajdeep of CM Flying along with AETO Rohit Kumar and Inspector Suresh Kumar of Excise Department raided the liquor vend running on Dhanauri Road of village Sanghan. Excise department officials asked contractor Rajendra for a license to keep and sell liquor, but he could not show any license. When CM Flying was not shown any document to run the liquor vend, the vendor was handed over to Sangatpura police post. On checking by Excise Department officials, 197 bottles of English liquor, 183 pints, 147 half bottles, 132 bottles of country liquor, 353 half bottles , 470 pavva, 102 bottles of beer and 33 beer cans were found in the sub-vandal. After this, Excise Department officials gave a written complaint to the police to take action against Rajendra under the Excise Act. Sangatpura outpost in-charge ASI Vikram said that on the complaint of Excise Department officials, a case has been registered against the contractor and he has been taken into police custody.
