SAD(Democratic) indefinitely postpones 100th anniversary convention in Moga

MOHALI: Shiromani Akali Dal (Democratic) president and Rajya Sabha MP Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa in a press statement on Tuesday said that the convention to mark the 100th anniversary of Shiromani Akali Dal which was scheduled to be held on December 13 in Moga with attendance of senior party leaders has been postponed further after consultation.
Dhindsa further said that the decision was taken as the centre government has not come up with any solution regarding the farmers’ agitation and secondly, being the danger of recurrence of coronavirus as per the experts. The convention has been postponed for two reasons, the next date of which will be finalised as per the circumstances, he added.
