MOHALI:Punjab Unaided Colleges Association (PUCA) expressed heartfelt condolences on the demise of Mr. Rajinder Kumar Sharma father of Mr. Amit Sharma, Chairman, Amritsar Group of Colleges & Dr. Vineet Sharma, Vice Chairman, Luxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Patiala and brother of Mr. Hiralal Sharma, Chairman, Ferozepur Group of Colleges. He left for his heavenly abode on 14th Nov, 2021.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, President, PUCA, said that Mr. Rajinder Sharma has contributed a lot in the education of Punjab. He has established around 6 colleges including Amritsar Group of Colleges, Amritsar; Laxmi Bai Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Patiala; YRS Polytechnic College, Moga; Ferozpur Group of Colleges, Ferozepur; Lala Lajpat Rai Group of Colleges, Moga & Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial College of Education, Dhudike. His death has caused a great loss not only to Punjab but to the education world of the entire country, said Kataria.
