Patiala police to donate one day salary for ekta fund

PATIALA:In line with the above principle, Patiala police has decided to contribute one day salary of every police personnel to “EKTA FUND” for helping family of COVID WARRIORS like PHG Darshan Singh who has lost his life to the deadly virus.

Divulging the details SSP Mr. Vikram Jeet Duggal said that in a resolution passed by 4000 odd police personnel it has been decided that immediate relief amounting to Rs 10 lakhs would be provided to  COVID WARRIORS from “EKTA FUND”. The relief amount would be handed over to the effected Families of COVID WARRIORS for their welfare.

PHG Darshan Singh was diagnosed with COVID-19 on 14-9-2020 and was admitted in Rajindra Hospital for treatment. He was suffering from breathing difficulties and unfortunately lost his life to Covid on 16-9-2020. He is survived by his wife, 2 sons and a daughter, added SSP Duggal.
