Istri Jagriti Manch, Punjab holds demonstration in favour of farmers in Nawanshahr

NAWANSHAHR:Activists of Istri Jagriti Manch, Punjab held a protest in favour of the agitating farmers in Nawanshahr today. They also took out a march in the town raising anti-Modi government slogans.
Earlier addressing the Kisan Dharna being held in front of Reliance Superstore for the past 40 days, the state president of Manch Bibi Gurbakhsh Kaur Sangha called upon the women to play the role of Mai Bhago in the ongoing struggle of the farmers against the central government. "Women should be equal partners in this struggle, " she said. Other speakers including Jasbir Deep, Buta Singh, Joginder Kullewal, Satpal Saloh, Simranjit Simmi, Ranjit Kaur in their address said that the Central government will have to bow down and accept the just demand of farmers to repeal the recent farm laws.
Meanwhile, as per reports, more and more people from different parts of district are daily leaving for Delhi to join the farmers' protest there. There is a palpable anger against the Modi government among the masses here.
Jasbir Deep said Modi and Khattar governments would be squarely responsible in case any unwanted clash occured in Delhi.
