AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the desecration of Gutka Sahib at Bhattiwal Kalan village near Sangrur. Advocate Dhami said that people who disrespect Gurbani deliberately want to create an atmosphere in the state.
The government should take strict action against such people. He said that according to the information, the incident at Bhattiwal Kalan was related to the desecration of Gutka Sahib placed on the mausoleums built in the fields. It is a great mistake to keep the holy Gutka Sahib of Gurbani in a deserted place where there is no provision of maryada. He appealed to the sangat not to make such mistakes to maintain respect for the holy Gurbani.
