16 schools in flood affected villages to remain closed till July 22

PHAGWARA: District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Captain Karnail Singh has ordered that 16 schools in flood affected 11 villages of sultanpur Lodhi Sub Division to remain closed till July 22.

According the orders issued by DM, it was found necessary as per the reports submitted by DEO Secondary and DEO Primary to close these schools due to water logging during the flood.

It includes Govt. primary school chananwindi , Govt Primary and Secondary school Sheikh Manga , Govt Primary schools Takia , Govt Primary and secondary school wattan wali , Govt Primary school Bharowana , Sherpur Sadha and Bhagho Ariyan , Govt Primary and secondary school Mand Inderpur , Govt Primary school saroopwal, Govt Primary and secondary school shahwala and Govt Primary and secondary school Jabowal .

He also made it clear that all other government/aided/Private schools will open from July 17.
