Jagir Kaur has Expressed grave sorrow over the demise of Bhag Singh Ankhi

AMRITSAR:Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Bibi Jagir Kaur has expressed grave sorrow over the death of senior leader of Chief Khalsa Diwan Bhag Singh Ankhi .

Bibi Jagir Kaur said that Bhag Singh Ankhi has long served as Chief Khalsa Diwan and Honorary Secretary of the Khalsa College Governing Council.

Jagir Kaur said that Bhag Singh Ankhi was a major contributor to the religious, educational and social spheres.

The president of SGPC said the passing away of Bhag Singh Ankhi is an unfulfilled loss for the Panth.

Expressing sympathy with the family members of Ankhi, Karta Purakh prayed to him to give shelter to the departed soul at his feet and give strength to the family to follow his wishes.

Meanwhile, the senior vice president of the Shiromani Committee . Mr. Surjit Singh Bhitewad, Junior Vice President Mr. Baba Buta Singh, General Secretary Advocate Mr. Bhagwant Singh Sialka and Chief Secretary SGPC Advocate Mr. Harjinder Singh Dhami were also present on the occasion.

Expressing deep sorrow over the passing away of Bhag Singh Ankhi, he extended his heartfelt condolences to the family members.
