Certification programme for training of AROs to start from Nov 15

PHAGWARA: Keeping in view of the coming assembly elections in Punjab, a Certification Programme for Training of Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers of District Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Gurdasspur, Amritsar and Pathankot would be organized from November 15 to November 18 at HMV College Jalandhar.

Certification programme for training of AROs to start from Nov 15

PHAGWARA: Keeping in view of the coming assembly elections in Punjab, a Certification Programme for Training of Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers of District Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Nawanshahr, Gurdasspur, Amritsar and Pathankot would be organized from November 15 to November 18 at HMV College Jalandhar.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Phagwara Kulpreet Singh while confirming it told this correspondent here on Sunday that this training programme would be held for two different batches and district Jalandhar,Hoshiarpur,Nawanshahr and Pathankot have been included in Batch no 1 while district Kapurthala,Gurdasspur and Amritsar have been included in Batch no 2.

Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Ghanshyam Thori said that SDM Phagwara Kulpreet Singh,SDM Bholath Shayari Malhotra and SDM Sultanpur Lodhi will attend the Certification Programme as Returning Officers, while Tehsildar Phagwara Kulwant Singh, Tehsildar Bholat Lakhwinder Singh,TehsildarKapurthala Beant Singh and Tehsildar Sultanpur Lodhi will attend three days training course as Assistant Returning Officers-1.DC Thori told that Naib Tehsildar Phagwara Pawan
Kumar Sharma,Naib Tehsildar Bholath Gursewak Chand, Naib Tehsildar Kapurthala Manohar Lal and Naib Tehsildar Sultanpur Lodhi Vinod Kumar will attend the course as ARO-2. So these officers could not be available for public during these course days.
