NAKODAR:The Mehat Pur police have arrested two Ludhiana village residents on the charge of selling illicit liquor.The Investigating Officer Vijay Kumar said that 70 bottles of illicit liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jaskaran Singh and Sukhdip Singh residents of Bhumaal village in Ludhiana.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
The Shahkot police arrested Gurmit Singh of Rajewal village with 8 bottles of hooch that was released on bail said IO Manjit Singh.
