Three booked for assaulting villager

LOHIAN KHAS:The Lohian Khas police have booked three persons on the charge of assaulting a village.The investigating officer (IO) Sawindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Resham Singh a resident of Nihaluwal village, his son Balwindar Singh and Tarsem Singh a resident of the same village.

Harmandip Singh a resident of the same complained to the police that he was returning home on May 25 when the accused attacked him with bricks from a roof top which hit his head and he fell down after becoming unconscious and was rushed to local civil hospital from where was referred to a Jalandhar clinic .

IO said that a case under section 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.

The Bilga police booked nine residents of Sangowal village for assaulting Gurdip Singh of the same village said IO Harwindar Singh.
