MOHALI: On the occasion of World Oral Health Day Hygiene Week was celebrated at Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital from March 21 which concluded today.
The event was organised by the department of Periodontology and department of Public Health Dentistry under the guidance of Dr Vimal Kalia, Principal of the RBDCH.
The events during the week included poster making competition, rangoli making competition, free dental health check up camp at Village Landran and oral hygiene demonstration and oral health awareness lectures for students of government school at Landran, Mohali.
Students and faculty members participated in all the events enthusiastically. Participants in different events were felicitated for making innovative and informative posters.
Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh lauded the efforts of the students and faculty members in making the event a success.
