RCED organized convocation of Skill Training Program

CHANDIGARH:  RCED organized the convocation ceremony for 2 SMART batches (Tally and Office Administration) under Tech Mahindra Foundation for the financial year 2022-23 here on Friday. Flaunting the achievements in hands and smiles on faces, students were ecstatic during the convocation organized by RCED.

The event was started with a cordial welcome address delivered by Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director, RCED. He also highlighted that more than 70 per cent of the candidates who have been trained in the skill training programs got placements. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Mahesh Singal, IPS, Retd. Director General of Police, Kerala. Currently he is the Special Rapporteur of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for the states of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and UT of Chandigarh. He motivated the students to be prepared to face adversity with the self-confidence, knowledge, skills, and training they received from this RCED. He also mentioned how difficult it is to exist in this world due to less job opportunities and greater inflation. He congratulated the students for adding another flower to their bouquet of accomplishments, wishing them all the best in their future endeavors.

Students were much inspired by the way he lives his life. They also asked many questions regarding self motivation, discipline, career progression and all the doubts were answered beautifully by Mr. Mahesh. The students were distributed the certificates and toppers were rewarded. The entire faculty of RCED Mrs. Jasleen Kaur, Ms. Simranjot kaur, Mr. Gurdeep Singh, Mrs Jaspreet Kaur, Mr. Satwinder Singh also congratulated them for their achievements.
