MOHALI: The operation licence of another immigiration consultancy firm in mohali has been suspended for 30 days.
Additional district magistrate(ADM) Komal Mittal said, "The opertion licence if Fly Routes Consultant, Phase 3B2, has been suspended as the company failed to provide data of clients and fee charged from them for immigiration services.The firm was issued a licence for the work of consultancy, which is valid till August26, 2023."
The notice was issued under the Punjab Travel Profession Regulation Act-2012 for non-submission of the report by the licensee aafter the lapse of time.The assistant inspector general of police, NRL wing, Patiala, informed in aletter that the office of the firm was found closed during verification.So suspension of the licence of the firm was recommended with immediate effect, sha added. The ADM said a notice was issued on Thursday, giving 15 days to the licensee to clarify his position as to why his licence should not be revoked. "Earlier the licenses of Xway immigiration solutions, Phase 2, Mohali, and Ocean International Education Consultant, also in Phase2, were revoked for hiding fee information." she added.
