In May of this year, current home secretary Arun Kumar Gupta and MC commissioner KK Yadav's three-year terms will come to an end. The Haryana government selected three Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers for the position of UT home secretary: Nitin Kumar Yadav, Ravi Pankaj Agarwal, and Vinay Singh.
Meanwhile, the Punjab government has named three IAS officers to replace Yadav as MC commissioner: Anindita Mitra, Amit Kumar, and Rajiv Prashar.
