Vet Varsity postpones examinations due to ongoing strike of Teachers'
LUDHIANA: The teachers of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences univrsity, Ludhiana have been on strike along with all the University and College teachers of the state in protest against non- implementation of the UGC grades of the university and College faculty by the Punjab government. Due to this, the academic activities of the GADVASU has been adversely affected.

Due to this, the academic activities of the GADVASU has been adversely affected.
Dr. H S Banga, Registrar of the university informed that because of ongoing teachers' protest, the administration has postponed the examinations of Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) students till further notice. Any further delay in the examinations may adversely affect the future prospects of the final year students since they are to start their internship from 28th February.
An earlier announcement of much awaited pay scales is the need of the hour.
