AMRITSAR: A new multi-story ultra modern building was today inaugurated by Khalsa College Governing Council President Satyajit Singh Majithia. The building spread in 1.35 thousand square feet in 3 blocks for the common facility of commerce and other departments of the college has been built with the consonance of the old 132-year-old architectural style of the College.
Majithia along with KCGC Vice President Swinder Singh Kathunangal, Honorary Secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina and Principal Dr.Mehal Singh said the departments related to Commerce, Economics, Music, Fine Art and Computer will be started in the new session for the next academic session of 2024-2025.
While congratulating the Principal, Heads of Department and staff of all the departments, said the primary motive of the management is to provide every facility to the students. The vast and huge building has 61 classrooms, a stadium, 2-2 big and small halls, 7 Laboratories, music room have been provided in the 5-storied building. On this occasion Dr. Mahal Singh thanked the management for infrastructure development and how the staff and students would be immensely benefited with the provisions made in the buildings.
