Joint Association of Colleges assures full Support to Bhagwant Mann Govt.

MOHALI: A meeting of 13 associations of Joint Association of Colleges (JAC) held at Mohali wherein unanimously. All association members welcomed newly formed S. Bhagwant Mann Govt. & assured full cooperation on behalf of 1650 unaided colleges of Punjab.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Co- Chairman, JAC informed press that around 75 % students of Punjab are studying in private self financing institutions & to uplift the quality education whatever Govt expects, the colleges will meet all the criteria.

The meeting was attended by 13 JAC associations including S. Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chief Patron, JAC; S. Manjit Singh, Patron, JAC; S. Jagjit Singh, President, JAC; Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman, JAC; S. Sukhmandar Singh Chattha, General Secretary, JAC & others.

Jagjit & Dhaliwal said that soon the delegation will meet the Chief Minister & Education Minister of Punjab & would assure all support from JAC. They would also apprise about the various problems being faced by Unaided Colleges including Post Matric Scholarship.
