BATALA: Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Batala, is brightening the future of girl students in the field of education and with the school getting the status of 'School of Eminence', there is a lot of excitement among the students and teachers. Students of this school are occupying important positions after studying here.
Government Girls Senior Secondary School Batala of Batala Vidhan Sabha Constituency, with its unique appearance, provides a good atmosphere to the students, due to which the students are very interested in studies. All the students of the school reach the school in their school uniform, which makes the atmosphere in the school seem very good.
Giving more information in this regard, the principal of the school Mrs. Balwinder Kaur said that a total of 1600 girls students are studying in the school. The school has 33 rooms, 61 teachers and 12 different subjects (trades) are being taught in the school. He said that 36 seats of class 9 have been found under 'School of Eminence with which the students are very happy and excited.
She further said that hard working teachers create interest in children in new ways. Students are taught in a very simple way with various projects provided by the education department. She said that with the support of fellow teachers, information is given to the parents of the children about the facilities of the government schools by going to the village to increase the enrollment in the school. She said that now government schools are not lower than private schools at any level but more facilities and studies are conducted in government schools than private schools.
