KONT PALI(Mahendraarh):Four students Jilshid, Jilshad, Farsin and Prasad of Final year Post-graduation of Hotel Management under the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management of Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, have been selected by the interview process for industrial training at the famous five-star Hotel Sheraton Grand in Bangalore.
While wishing the students on their selection, the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. R.C. Kuhad said that industrial training gives students an opportunity to gain practical knowledge of the field. The Vice-Chancellor also congratulated all the teachers of the department and said that getting practical training in reputed institutes helps the students to keep the knowledge of the relevant field updated. He said that this course is highly skillful as well as provides good employment opportunities. There are immense possibilities of employment in this area not only in the country but also in the foreign countries.
Dr. Ranbir Singh, Head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, said that industrial training plays a very important role for the holistic development of the students. He attributed this success to the efficient guidance of the teachers and hard work of the students. He informed that the hotel industry is also providing employment opportunities to the trained youth in present times. On this occasion, the teachers of the department Shikha, Vikas Mohan, Vikash Sivach and Dr. Dilbag Singh congratulated all the students for their bright future.
