CHANDIGARH: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri while inaugurating new city office announced scholarships of 5 Crores for more than 1000 students. During the opening ceremony, a number of new educational programmes, including BA (Hons.) Liberal Arts & Humanities degree in economics, psychology and English, B.Sc. Biotechnology and Graphics & Web designing, etc., were also introduced by Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC Jhanjeri.
The city office was opened to also make the magnanimous 5 crores scholarship within easy reach for the students in need and ensures that financial constraints may not be a hindrance for deserving students.
Speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC Jhanjeri said that being a responsible educator we want to ensure that every deserving student gets the quality education , which is now within easy reach for all the deserving students of Chandigarh and outskirts . He further added that Scholarship Scheme is announced for meritorious students as well as economically weak students. He advised the students to be more professionally educated and skilful for their proper employment.
