PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized an HR Conclave on Friday, 15th July 2022. The objective of the program was to apprise stakeholders about the recent trends, technologies and compliance in the HR domain.
Dr. TV Rao, Chairman TVRLS and Former Professor, IIM, Ahmedabad while giving the Keynote address during the session mentioned it is important that the employee should be motivated to work in an organization and for that the HR department needs to look after emotional needs, esteem needs along with the financial needs of the employee.
Earlier while giving the welcome address, Mr. Mohit Jain, Chair, Haryana State Chapter, PHDCCImentioned that HR Business partnering is a strategic liaison between HR and the Business.The senior HR Professionals have a deep understanding of the business and ensure that HR helps the business make an impact.
Mr. Sanjiv Singh, Co Chair, Punjab State Chapter, PHDCCIwhile giving the theme address apprised that his company has been awarded on best practices in HR by Good Place to Work. He emphasized on the importance of employee motivation stating a motivated employee can be a real asset for the company.
Various sessions were held during the conclave, Mr. Arun Raghav, Head ER, Admin and CSR, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd while moderating the session on Talent Acquisition and Retention shared the best practices during Covid and Post covid period. The session on upcoming Labour codes moderated by Adv. Jeetender Gupta, Co Chair, HR & IR Committee, PHDCCI was very well received by the attendees. While sharing case studies on Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Ms Arti Chaudhary, Independent Consultant on Posh and Diversity & Inclusion mentions DEI not only improves the company’s image, it helps in getting more busy for the organization. A session on HR Tech emphasized on use of technology in the HR department for making the system efficient and increasing the work productivity of employees was also held.
