GURDASPUR: Shaheed-e-Azam S. On the 115th birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh, special events will be held across the state and in district Gurdaspur on September 28. Taking stock of the preparations in this regard, Additional Deputy Commissioner (J) Dr. Nidhi Kumad said that Shaheed-e-Azam S. On the occasion of Bhagat Singh's birth anniversary, candle marches will be organized at district headquarters Gurdaspur and tehsil level at Batala, Dera Baba Nanak, Dinanagar, Kalanur and Fatehgarh Churian on September 28 at 7:00 p.m., in which maximum participation of youth. will be conducted Apart from this, cycle rallies and marathon races will also be organized in the district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nidhi appealed to all the residents of the district to hoist the tricolor flag at their homes and workplaces on September 28.
Apart from this, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, one should light lamps in their homes and perform Deepmala.
Dr Nidhi said that the historical buildings of the district will also be illuminated.
