Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj congratulated the devotees on the establishment day of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee celebrated the foundation day of Sri Akal Takht Sahib with devotion and respect today.
The acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj has congratulated the devotees on the establishment day of Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
While addressing the at religious diwan (congregation), he said that the sixth Guru, Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, by establishing Sri Akal Takht Sahib made it clear that when the worldly thrones refuse to provide justice, the Guru's throne will always become the center of truth, religion and justice and lead humanity. History is a witness to this fact that all the rulers who challenged the supremacy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib have become the dust of time, but this true throne of the Guru has always been steadfast and will remain so.
He said that it is the duty of every Sikh to have complete devotion and dedication to the dignity, supremacy and orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Today, when the Panth is facing numerous challenges, our strength lies in coming together under the umbrella of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He said that today every Sikh will have to come forward to save his youth from the terrible evil of drugs. When the youth are connected to the Guru, to the Name, to the service and to the Panthic thought, then they will stay away from all kinds of worldly drugs. Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj appealed to the Sangat that on the occasion of the Creation Day of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, we all should take a pledge that while maintaining the supremacy of this true Takht of the Guru, we will strive for the progress of the Khalsa Panth by joining mutual unity, Gurmat and Panthic discipline.
Prominent personalities including SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, Executive Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Jathedar of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Giani Tek Singh were present. After the Bhog of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Gurbani Kirtan was performed by Hazuri Raagi Jatha. Ardas was performed by Bhai Prem Singh and the holy Hukamnama was recited by Granthi Singh Sahib of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Rajdeep Singh and history was also shared with the congregation.
On this occasion, Head Granthi of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Gurmukh Singh, Shiromani Committee member Gurmeet Singh Booh, Bhai Ajaib Singh Abhishek, Baba Gurmeet Singh Trilokewala, Secretary Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, S.
