SAD strongly condemns the Maharashtra govt’s decision to interfere in the autonomous functioning of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib
AMRITSAR: Shiromani Akali Dal strongly condemned the Maharashtra govt’s decision to interfere in the autonomous functioning of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib by repealing The Nanded Sikh Gurdwara Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Act, 1956 and replacing it with a new law.
Sukhbir Singh Badal in his post on tweeter, he said that This sacred Takht, sanctified by Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji, belongs to the Sikh Panth. No government has any right to impose control over it.
SAD urge the Maharashtra Goernment and CM to immediately withdraw this proposal and not take any step that conflicts with the sentiments of the Sikh Sangat.
