NURMAHAL:Area residents on Monday demanded from local civic body to remove encroachment on the approach road to historic Nurmahal Sarai.Dilbag Singh a resident of Bana Pur village and a social activist in a representation to the president and executive officer of Nurmahal Nagar council said that management of Doaba Arya School in active collusion with officials of the civic body has encroached a big portion of approach road and have raised a six inches high platform and installed its board.
Representation said that this approach road is old Sher Shah Suri(GT Road) road from Agra to Lahore and is property of Zila Parishad as per revenue record.
Dilbag Singh said in his representation that this encroachment should be removed at the earliest.
