Bittu is a distorted male version of BJP MP Kangana Ranaut, both have no control on their tongue
CHANDIGARH: Punjab Youth Congress president Mohit Mohindra today lashed out at 'turncoat' Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu and castigated him for targeting his political mentor Rahul Gandhi to appease his masters in BJP.

In a statement issued here Mohit Mohindra said that comparing leader of Opposition (LoP) with terrorists shows bankruptcy of morality in Bittu. He remined Bittu that Rahul Gandhi had nourished his political career and made him member of Parliament three times and gave him leverage in politics. He added that Bittu has also forgotten the legacy of his family, especially his grandfather former Chief Minister Sardar Beant Singh who sacrificed his life to keep high the flag of Congress party and saved Punjab.

PYC president said that Bittu was distorted male version of controversial actor and now MP Kangana Ranaut as they both has no control on their tongue. He said that Kangana had tried to defame Sikhs and farmers of Punjab calling them terrorists and Bittu has insulted prestige of his own turban by toeing anti minority ideology of BJP. Mohindra said that whole Punjab was ashamed of utterances of Bittu who must apologise from his family and people of Punjab.

Mohindra further stated that Bittu was not an elected representative of Punjab as he was defeated from Ludhiana Parliament seat. He was still made Union Minister by BJP not for his ability but to use him against Punjab and Sikhs. Bittu was going overboard to probe his loyalty with BJP but he would be used and thrown out at a time.

He said that Rahul Gandhi had defended rights of minorities and raised the issue of discrimination with Sikhs at international forum. He said that Congress has the tradition of standing for the minorities and suppressed sections of society.
