AMRITSAR:Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Bibi Jagir Kaur has decided to send a delegation to Lakhimpur Khiri in connection with yesterday's incident at Lakhimpur Khiri in Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagir Kaur said that the farmers protesting peacefully at Lakhimpur Khiri were hit by the son of a BJP minister, killing several farmers and injuring others, which was a very tragic incident.
She said that a delegation was being sent by the SGPC to Uttar Pradesh to take up the matter and get the details of the case to the families of the victims.
Bibi Jagir Kaur informed that in this delegation an intimate member of the SGPC . Ajmer Singh Khera, . Amrik Singh Shahpur, Member Kulwant Singh Mannan, Bhai Gurcharan Singh Grewal,
Jarnail Singh Dogranwala, Sukhmeet Singh Qadian, . Harbhajan Singh Cheema and Deputy Secretary of the Shiromani Committee. Nirvel Singh is also involved.
The SGPC President said that a Government of India Minister and his son were responsible for this heinous act and should be sacked immediately.
