Former Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal quarantined, five of his staff members tested positive for Corona

CHANDIGARH: Former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal (93) presently living in his native village Badal in Muktsar district has been quaratined after five of his personal security members and a cook were tested positive for coronavirus. SP security is among the five security team members.

The district health authorities have sealed the residence of Badal and declared it micro containment zone. The movement in village Badal has been restrticted. The health authorities have conducted corona tests of about 100 persons including family members of Badal and his personal aides.

SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal is also living in the same house. But it is not yet known if he was also quarantined or not.

SP incharge of security of Badal has been admitted in the max hospital in Bathinda.The security personnel belonged to Central Reserve Police Force. One lady ASI of CRPF is also among the positive patients.

Two doctors of Punjab Health Department are monitoring the health of Parkash Singh Badal.
