PATIALA: Following the directions issued in Writ Petition No. 101 CRWP-242-2021 titled as Rishi Vs. State of Haryana & Ors, by the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Secretaries, District Legal Services Authority would also be the members in the District Level Committee for redressal of all types of grievances related to COVID-19 pandemic.
DLSA, Secretary, Ms. Parminder Kaur, CJM, while divulging the above details, said that in view of the recent directions, matter has been taken up with the District Administration and it has been informed that helpline No.62843-57500 has already been assigned to check for bed availability, oxygen and remdesivir injections etc.
Apart from that, to dispose of queries regarding COVID Curfew/restrictions, vaccination schedule and other issues related to COVID, a dedicated control room no. 0175-2350550 has been active. She appealed to the general public that in case they have any grievance related to above mentioned issues, they can contact over the above said numbers.
In addition to the above numbers, the public can also contact the office of District Legal Services Authority, Patiala on the phone no. 0175-2306500 and official No. 85588-09698 of Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala for redressal of their grievances.
