CHANDIGARH: The journalists engaged in online news portals and web TV channels today met here and formed Digital Media Association to protect their interests and to take up with the Punjab goverment problems faced by them in execution of their duties.
The meeting was held under the Charimanship of Satinderjit Singh Bains (Chairman of Association) Editor of PunjabNewsExpress.com and elected Devinderjit Singh Darshi (Vishavvarta.com) as President of the Association. Other office bearers are Mahavir Jain(Arthparkash.com) Vice President, Devinder Singh Kohli (Kaumimarg.com) will be General Secretary and Parminder Singh Jattpuri(Khabarwale.com) is named office secretary.
The Digital Media Association has decided to approach Mr.Raveen Thukral Media Advisor to Chief Minister, Secretary and Director of Information and Public Relations Department to take up their issues.
The Association has also decided to celebrate Press Day on November 16.
