CHANDIGARH: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today condemned Punjab chief Minister Amarinder Singh for importing Covid vaccines in the state at the cost of nationally-produced vaccines, Coavaxin and Coveshield.
In a statement Chugh said this reflected Amarinder's inherent dislike for Indian products to please his overseas mentors.
Chugh termed it as Amarinder's anti-national stance demonstrating lack of faith in national effort to combat Covid in the country.
Chugh said the Punjab government pretext that three phase trial of Coavaxin has not completed was a flimsy ground to go for imported vaccines.
