CHANDIGARH:An online “Bridge Course program” for hundred students of Dashmesh Publish
School, District Qadian, Gurdaspur has been initiated here Monday. The online program for one
month was organized by Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED), Chandigarh in
collaboration with Satnam Sarvkalyan Trust (SST), Mohali.
The inaugural session was attended by Mrs. Paramjit Kaur (Chairperson) S.Harkirat Singh
Trustee (SST), Dr. Kamaljit Singh Trustee (SST), S. Surinder Singh (Principal) and S. Paramjit Singh,
Director, Prof. Nirmal Datt Advisor RCED. Participants and all trustees appreciated the teaching of
English in a different and easy way.
The inventor of this newly-patented technique to learn English, Prof. Nirmal Datt is a former
Head of the Department English, DAV College, Chandigarh took the online training. Prof. Datt, who
himself in his small Punjab village suffered all the travails of a Punjabi/Hindi speaking learner trying
to master English Communication invented an altogether approach to learn this skill.
Earlier, a similar 20 days program was also conducted by RCED in collaboration with
Satnam Sarvkalyan Trust (SST), Mohali for more than two hundred teachers from all the nooks and
corners of Punjab to master the English language. The appreciation from the previous candidates
encouraged us to conduct more programs.
