AMRITSAR: Bhai Ranjit Singh, former Jathedar of Akal Takht, took strong note of Bibi Jagir Kaur's statement in which she said that we cannot take the law into our own hands. SGPC Chief was reacting on Takht Kesgarh Sahib incident.

Bhai Ranjit Singh while talking to social media said that, "you broke the bones of those who came forward to inquire about the missing 328 forms of Guru Granth Sahib but now she is saying that they cannot take the law into their own hands".

The Jathedars of Akal Takht and SGPC are moving with security but "but no security for Guru Granth Sahib".
Bhai Ranjit Singh said that we were amazed at how the Sikhs were tolerating Bibi Jagir Kaur.

It may be recalled that Bibi Jagir Kaur had said yesterday that we have fulfilled our duty by handing over the culprit to the police. Now the police administration will take action.

Bibi Jagir Kaur said that no one can stop such incidents but only the police can stop these things. Meanwhile Karnail Singh Peermohammad, Senior Leader, All India Sikh Students Federation, has strongly condemned the incident of descreation of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib and said that an emergency meeting of Jathedars of the five Takhts should be call to discuss how to prevent such incidents in future.

He suggested that activists of Nihang organizations should be deployed in all gurdwaras to to stop such incidents
They should work under the guidance of Akal Takht.

Anyone involved in such activities should be punished according to Sikh tradition? he added.
