NAKODAR: The Mehat Pur police have arrested two women on the charges of attacking a police party.
Station House Officer (SHO) Lakhvir Singh said that the accused have Jaswindar Kaur daughter of Gurdev Singh a resident of Jhugian village and her sister Kulwindar Kaur .
SHO said that a case under sections 307(attempt to murder), 186(obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions.), 188(disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) , 270(Malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and 506(criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code and section 51(b) of the Disaster Management Act 2005 was registered against the accused.
SHO said that the accused have been released on bail.
