SHAHKOT: The Shahkot police have registered a missing report in connection with the disappearance of a 20 years old girl.
The Station House Officer S.K.Kamboj said the victim has been identified as Jasprit Kaur (27) daughter Munnashi Ram a resident of Sadik Pur village SHO said the victim left her house on June 8 but did not return home.
SHO said that a missing report has been registered.
Ludhiana resident commit suicide, case registered
SHAHKOT: A 38 years old man committed suicide on Saturday by hanging himself.
The investigating officer (IO) Balkar n Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Ranjit Singh son of Mahavir Singh a resident of Bharti colony Bahadar Ke road Ludhiana the village who hanged himself due to tension in a shop near the vegetable market where he was working.
IO said the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C. on a statement from Khushdip Singh a a resident of Employees Colony and shop owner handed over the body to the family after post mortem.
Villager arrested for stealing motorcycle
NAKODAR: Nakodar, June 14:—The Nakodar sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of stealing a motor cycle.
The investigating officer Jugraj Singh said that the accused has been identified as Charanjit Singh alias Channa son of Bindar Singh a resident Kular village.
Balwindar Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused and his unidentified accomplice stole his motorcycle (Pb-08-AP -1478) parked outside his house.
IO said that a case under section 379(theft) of the IPChas been registered against the accused.
