PATNA: Bihar Deputy Chief Ministers and BJP leaders, Vijay Kumar Sinha and Samrat Choudhary, are leading with significant numbers in their respective Assembly constituencies, early trends showed on Friday
As the NDA eyes a landslide victory, the early trends from the Election Commission of India (ECI) at noon showed Samrat Choudhary leading with over 28, 000 votes in the Tarapur Assembly seat, while RJD's Arun Kumar is trailing with a difference of over 6, 000 votes.
Meanwhile, after initially trailing, Vijay Kumar Sinha is now ahead with over 20, 000 votes in the Lakhisarai Assembly seat, leaving Congress' Amaresh Kumar behind with a difference of over 5, 300 votes.
Additionally, early trends also show the BJP emerging as the largest party in the Bihar Assembly elections, currently leading in 85 out of the 243 seats.
