Kailash Kher seeks blessings at Mahakaleshwar temple, calls visit a life-changing experience
MUMBAI: Singer Kailash Kher recently visited the sacred Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain. He offered prayers and attended the early morning, Bhasma Aarti.
Speaking to IANS, the singer described his visit as a life-changing experience. Kher expressed profound devotion and gratitude. He shared that being at Mahakal feels like attaining one of life’s greatest purposes. He shared, “Whenever we come in the presence of Jai Shri Mahakaal, it feels like achieving life’s biggest achievement. It is like attaining a very big goal in life. And to give direction to those who are directionless, God calls them at is feet again and again.”
“This is a symbol of His grace. I bow to this land of India, this Sanatan culture; I bow to the people of this land, I bow to this land, that my Lord, this is the culture of our India. It is such a fortunate thing to be born on this land,” he added.
A few days ago, Kailash Kher visited the Kedarnath Temple in Uttarakhand, where he sought divine blessings and performed his devotional rendition of the song “Bam Lahiri,” dedicated to Lord Shiva.
The singer also shared a video from the holy site, standing before the temple amid the breathtaking backdrop of snow-covered Himalayan peaks. In the clip, he was seen singing the powerful track as devotees gathered around. Alongside the video, he wrote, “Mahadev ka dhaam, Pooran saare kaam. Jai Jai Kedara.”
