LOHIAN:The Lohian Khas police have booked six persons on the charges of cheating and criminal conspiracy.The Station House Officer (SHO) Balwinder Singh Bhullar said that the accused have been identified as Aman Verma, Ankit, Pankaj, Bittu all residents of GhaziaBad, New Delhi and their one unidentified accomplice.
Paramjit Singh a resident of Badshah Pur village has complained toJalandhar(rural) Senior Superintendent of Police that the accused
fraudulently withdrew Rs58000 from his SBI account in July 2020.
SHO said that a case under sections 403(dishonestly misappropriatingmoveable property) 420(cheating) and 120-B(criminal conspiracy) of the
IPC and section 66-Cof the IT act has been registered against theaccused after an inquiry.
