PHAGWARA:The City Police Phagwara have arrested a drugs peddler and recovered 450 intoxicant tablets from his possession last night.
The accused was identified as Mangat Ram@ Manga resident of Kot Rani Village, the police said.
The accused was nabbed at a check point on Kherra Road Phagwara when he threw a packet on roadside after watching police at the check point, but the police succeeded to nab him and recovered the intoxicant tablets.A case under NDPS act has been registered against the drugs peddler.
