Bihar native arrested for murdering migrant father son duo

NURMAHAL:The Nurmahal police on Wednesday arrested a Bihar native migrant worker on the charge of murdering migrant father son duo.
Nakodar deputy superintendent of police (DSP)Navneet Singh Mahal told media said that the accused has been identified as Ram Chandar Yadav a resident of district Purnia, Bihar state and presently living at Talwandi Bharo village.

DSP said that the accused has confessed his crime and told the police that he murdered both father son with a spade on July 15 night and dumped the bodies in a deserted dry well near Dera of Gurpal Singh Pala a resident of Cheema Kalan village where he worked and filled well with poppy husk to cover bodies. He told the police that he committed the crime due to an old enmity with the deceased.

DSP said that weapon of murder has been recovered on demarcation of the accused.

Manohar Lal a native of Bihar and brother –in-law of the deceased Vidiya Nand Yadav(47) also a Bihar native had complained to the police and his father –in-law and his son Shubham Kumar(23) who were working in Dehli came to Cheema Kalan village to meet the accused who is their neighbour in Bihar 20 days ago.

He said in his statement that his relatives have too much cash with themselves and the accused became dishonest and murdered both on July 15 night.
DSP said that a case under sections 302(murder) and 201(causing disappearance of evidence of offence) of the IPC was registered against the accused
