Khalsa College of Education (KCE) Awarded A++ Grade by NAAC

AMRITSAR: In a major achievement, Khalsa College of Education, (KCE) GT Road, Amritsar has become only Education College in whole of North India to be awarded the A++ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The premier teacher education institution, established in 1954, the College running under the aegis of Khalsa College Governing College, went through a rigorous 4th cycle of accreditation recently and earned the distinction.

KCGC President Satyajit Singh Majithia and Honorary Secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chinna congratulated College Principal, Dr. Khushvinder Kumar, as well as the members of the faculty and the students for the marvelous achievement. They commended the Principal’s vision and leadership, and also recognized the dedication, hard work, and commitment of the faculty members.

Dr. Khushvinder Kumar, meanwhile, said that KCE is a legendary institution, a hub of knowledge and wisdom has received the best rating from NAAC with an A++grade. He attributed the achievement to the visionary leadership of Majithia and Chinna apart from entire management and other stakeholders for providing unconditional support.

Principal informed that the NAAC Peer team comprised of chairperson, Dr. Kaplesh Kumar Pathak, VC, Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Dr. Adarshlata Singh, Professor from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Maharashtra and Dr. D Siva Kumar, Principal, Thriuvalluvar Teacher Education, Tamilnadu visited the College recently.
They visited the schools involved in the internship program, KCGC Recording Studio, and Sikh History and Research Centre and held interactive sessions with members of the Management committee, Students, Teachers, Alumni, and Parents. The team conducted a thorough review of records of all the clubs, committees, and the IQAC cell of the institution. On this occasion, the principal expressed gratitude to the college management, faculty and the students for making the College warn the achievement.
