MOHALI: A wonderful cultural programme 'Aalaw-Kashmiri Cultural Show' was organized for the new students of 2020-21 batch from Jammu and Kashmir in association with Sabar Education Srinagar at Rayat Bahra University.
The event was organized to showcase and highlight Kashmiri culture, dance, folk dances and Kashmiri dresses. Kashmiri artists, rappers, and singers exhibited their skills.
The explosive musical performance of Kashmiri star singers enthralled the audience to gave a thunderous applause to their performance even as a large number of students danced in merriment.
Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University Gurvinder Singh Bahra was Chief Guest. Vice-Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University Dr Parvinder Singh, Vice-President (Academics) of the University Sahila Bahra, University Registrar Prof BS. Satyal were also present on the occasion and lauded the performance of the students.
Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra underlining the significance of these cultural events said that such cultural programmes provide a platform to the students to display their talent.
The Kashmiri cultural dance 'Rauf' performed by Kashmiri students was the star attraction of the programne.
Mehran Reshi, Director, Sabar Education, thanked all the Kashmiri star singers and the guests. Event organizer Naeem Lone got a thunderous applause for the enthralling programme.
