MOHALI: It is a moment of glory for the Rayat Bahra University as over 300 of its students have been selected for placement in renowned companies on high packages.
The year has been particularly good for the Rayat Bahra University as placements have touched a new high. The RBU has already touched pinnacle of glory with one of the highest placement records among different universities in the northern region.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, while interacting with media persons here today, said that all eligible students from different professional courses passing out from the university this year have got placements. He said that this was a record of sorts for the university in the field of placements.
Bahra said the RBU has started a number of new age courses in collaboration with top multinational companies to increase the employment potential of the students. The University, one of the best in this part of the country, offers attractive scholarship schemes, has highest placement record, and has ultra modern facilities available for its students, he added.
He said that offering a host of courses in different streams the university has become one of the leading educational hubs in this part of the country. With Rayat Bahra students being equipped with industry relevant skills, there has been an upswing in placements.
Bahra said that the Rayat Bahra Group is already running a dental college and hospital, College of Nursing and a Skill Development Centre on its campus. These professional courses have been attracting students from all over the region.
