With walkover Bopanna-Shapovalov move into doubles semis

CHANDIGARH: Rohan Bopanna (India) partnering Denis Shapovalov of Canada moved into doubles semi-final as their rivals Benoit Paire of France and Stan Wawrinka gave walkover in quarter-finals in the $ 5,701,945 Coupe Rogers ATP Masters 1000 at Montreal, Canada today.
Bopanna and Shapovalov will next play Netherlands pair of Robin Hasse and Wesley Koolhof who beat seventh seeded American pair of Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan 6-7 (8), 7-6 (5), 10-5 in over two hours quarter-final battle.
Balaji and Vishnu storm into doubles semis
Second seeded Indian pair of N Sriram Balaji and Vishnu Vardhan prevailed over N Vijay Sunder Prashanth of India and Scott Puodziunas of Australia by 3-6, 6-4, 10-4 in the doubles quarter-final match in the the €46,600 ATP Challenger in Augsburg, Germany today. The match lasted one hour and 22 minutes.
