200 Chandigarh cricketers attend Anti Doping and Anti Corruption Education workshop

CHANDIGARH: Dr. Abhijit Salvi, Anti Doping, Age Verification and Medical Consultant, Board of Control for Cricket in India, conducted Anti Doping and Anti Corruption Education Programme for UT Cricket Association (UTCA) U-16, U-19, U-23 and senior men’s and women’s teams along with various support staffers, coaches, of the teams and administrators in Chandigarh on Friday.

About 200 players attended the mandatory education workshop which takes place ahead of the BCCI domestic season.
UTCA also held the selection trials for men’s U-23 UTCA team were held at the Cricket Stadium Sector 16, Chandigarh under strict guidelines. As many as 180 players participated in the trails. As in the previous trials, UTCA adopted the system of issuing unique number to each participant in appearing for selection. The association will announce the probables soon.
